Giant log milling process reveal from @gobywalnut
The creator showcases the process of milling a 140-year-old, 15,000-pound black walnut log. They begin by measuring the log and preparing the large sawmill, then proceed to cut the log into massive slabs. After cutting, they use a pressure washer to clean the sawdust off the slabs, revealing the beautiful, colorful wood grain underneath, and finally use a forklift to move the stack of finished lumber.

Transcript excerpt
Better wonder what's inside a 140 year old black walnut tree? We'll show you. This log was a beast. It weighed 15,000 pounds and was close to maxing out our sawmill, which can cut up to five and a half feet wide. We make sure the blade is sharp and well oiled before every cut. We focus on sourcing dead and dying trees, and we don't get many this size, so every slab is precious. Usually, it takes us a full day to mill a log this size. After the slabs are cut, we'll pressure wash them to remove the sawdust. This is the best part. These are beauties. Clean, colorful, close to five foot wide by 16 foot long. Follow us to see what we cut next.
