Connect a local AI agent now

1. Create a scoped access token in VideoDatabase Profile Settings.
2. Send the generated setup prompt to Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Grok's developer agent, or another compatible local agent. It configures https://videodatabase.io/mcp using the client's native MCP settings, authenticates with the scoped token, and verifies access.

Hosted ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok use OAuth

The manually created VideoDatabase token works with local agents that accept a custom bearer header. Hosted ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok connectors use VideoDatabase OAuth account linking instead.

Clear token permissions

Connections can search videos, submit missing public URLs, generate Creator Panel content, and ask Strategy Bot when the connected user's account tier includes those tools.

No skill or special command required

The model discovers VideoDatabase tools automatically and chooses them when a request matches. Skills are optional workflow instructions, not required to search or act on VideoDatabase.
