Transcript excerpt

One thing that gets overlooked in brand building is timing. The edits app is where I keep ideas warm and pull the trigger fast. I can always jump in on a conversation or bring a trend to life right in the moment. Edits helps me break down my ideas from first concept to final post and you can do the same. Take my video about the brand of New York City. The concept was bigger than basketball or winning a championship. It was much more about what New York has always sold people. If you can make it there, then you can make it anywhere. I use edits to organize my clips of New York so that every visual reinforce the feelings of what it means to be successful in the city. Every shot was organized to support the next through layering, framing, and trimming. And I already know New York is about pace, so I wanted to capture the hustle of it in each clip. Then I put the cherry on top with a quintessential New York anthem from the edits music library. Of course, I added captions so that everyone is included and can watch the video, and it's helped me nail the craft of precision at the perfect time. See you on the next episode.
