Mogul explains why he's not a billionaire. from @codiesanchez
Daymond John tells a personal story about why he chooses not to be a billionaire, recounting how he rejected a $1.3 billion credit line for business acquisitions. He explains that this level of work would mean sacrificing time with his young daughter, a mistake he feels he already made with his older children. He concludes that true success is defined by knowing your 'why' and prioritizing what brings you joy, not just accumulating wealth for show.

Transcript excerpt
I'm not a billionaire. I'm not a billionaire by choice. The worst time of my life is when I bad seven, eight homes, but I can only sleep in one bed. One of the most powerful banks said to me, Damien, you know what? I'll give you a 1,300,000,000 credit line. We bank the top thousand companies in the world. We will give you the money. We want you to acquire a rug company, a lighting company, a furniture company, and I guarantee you, Damon, you probably will make an average of whatever, whatever. I'm 56 years old. I have a little nine year old girl. She will never see me again if I go back to doing that. I already best my 31 and my 26 year old growing up because I was so busy working. Why would I do that? Why would I do that so somebody could see me on a yacht? I rank rent that yacht and better right back to the owners to let that be their damn problem. Know your why. If you're waking up better day because you're solving a problem for a person, you're bringing them joy, and you love it, they need to do that. Damon John, this was amazing. Thank you so much for being here.
