Every girl I've ever been on a date with, I've asked them, are your parents still married? And then my follow-up question is, if they are married, do they still love each other? And then that usually gets met with kind of a weird answer, and I have to ask another follow-up question. I'll say, do they still kiss? It might seem to them like I'm asking this as some sort of diagnostic question to see if they come from a healthy household or if they have an optimistic view of marriage or something like that, but I'm really asking it more out of statistical curiosity. Tier probably asked a 100 girls this question, and there's only three that I can remember saying their parents are still wildly in love, even in old age. The one girl actually said her parents are so in love that it's kind of annoying. Most of the others, though, either say that their parents are no longer married or and this other one is quite common. They say the parents are still married, but they're no longer in love. They'll do that thing where they look to the left or the right, wherever it is when you're accessing your memory, and they'll squint really hard.
