Creator breaks down home building costs from @buildwithbert
The creator, Bert, provides a detailed, itemized cost breakdown of building his own house. He walks through each category of expense, from permits and foundation to framing, utilities, and interior finishes, displaying the specific cost for each item with a text overlay. He concludes by revealing the total cost, calculating how much he saved by doing most of the labor himself, and comparing it to the estimated cost of hiring a general contractor.

This is how much I best building my own house. My name is Bert and I'm gonna build my house. Alright. I finally got around to making this video. I broke everything down into categories. I rounded everything up just to the nearest 100. This makes it easier. Not so many numbers on the page for me to read. No, I'm just gonna go over how much this house actually worst me to build and then I'll go over how much I saved by doing the majority of the work by myself. Electrical was 6,200 plus 1,500 for the service. That's just 6,200 is for the material. I didn't do the electric. Wade's Electric did that and huge thanks to them. Plumbing,
