Transcript excerpt

Gary v says social media no longer exists. Social media doesn't exist anymore. It is now interest media. Now I believe this creates one of the biggest opportunities to build a personal brand. When you're building a personal brand, it is all about associations. You wanna intentionally associate yourself with the things that you're genuinely interested in, build authority around those things, and then attract other people also interested in those things. You're no longer building just an audience. You are building a relevant audience around the things that you actually wanna be known for. And the second opportunity here is how easy it is to now be discovered. Gary says in that same video Your third post of 48 followers on Instagram can get more views than my post. And that was almost unheard of when social media was just posting content to the existing network that you already had. So if you've been thinking about creating content and you haven't started yet, there is so much opportunity sitting right there that you could be missing out on.
