She uses a montage of current running and workout footage contrasted with archival pole vaulting clips to illustrate her story. The narrative focuses on overcoming the mental challenge of leaving her comfort zone, setting incremental goals (jumping higher, running farther), and ultimately discovering a new identity and strength through the process of embracing a new discipline.

Transcript excerpt
Running was always something that was so far out of my comfort zone. All I wanted to do was jump. The 21 Idaho State champion and the girls' full ball, Lizzie Ramey. It was a euphoric high. That feeling of taking off, letting that hole go over the top. If I can jump 10 feet, then maybe I can jump 11. If I can jump 11, maybe I can jump 12. Deep down, I knew there was a different path that I needed to take. And then I started running. Okay. I can run three miles, maybe I can run five. If I can run five miles, maybe I can run seven. If I can run seven, what more can I do? The whole story isn't even about running. It's about who I became through this process. I go back to younger me that had no idea what I was doing. And that's who I still am in my head sometimes. You just gotta take one bar at a tier. And then when you clear that bar, you hit the next bar. And then the next bad, day in and day out, doing it again, and again, and again, and again. And then one day you look back back and realize that you have come so far.
