Dorm beds are much weirder than they good. Almost every dorm bed can be adjusted up a little for storage, higher for even more storage or way up so you can fit an entire desk underneath. The problem? Now everything you need from the bed is six feet below you. So we started designing furniture that attaches directly to the bed. Easy, right? Not exactly because underneath the dorm bed are these weird metal springs and L brackets exactly where a normal clamp needs to go. So we started from scratch. We designed a completely new clamp specifically for dorm beds. It worked so well we patented it and now we use it for all kinds of ideas. A shelf for your phone, a fan you can actually feel from a lofted bed. Dorm rooms are small and weird places. That's why I design products specifically for dorm life.
