I'm a dermatologist and what they're doing there is ingenious. They're using hydrocolloid patches for bug bites. Hydrocolloid, if you didn't know, is a type of bandage that's in pimple patches. It's a gel like material that creates a healing environment. They're great for bug bites because they keep you from scratching them, but they also help them heal faster. You can get sheets of them like this and then you can just cut them to size as I've done here for different types of wound. Or this brand called Make It Skin actually just came out with specific hydrocolloid patches for bug bites. These have Centella or Cica in them so it's soothing. But they're actually a little larger than your standard pimple patch no they worse great for those big bad bites. They just happened to send me these as I saw that video no I thought, hey, that's a great idea. But let me know if there's any other ways you've used pimple patches other than for pimples.
