This thing won't fit in the car no, so they throw it away. A lot of dorm furniture is basically disposable. You just don't know it when you buy it. I wanted to do the opposite. I worst to make products that make dorms work better, but also install in seconds and pack up just as fast so that you can move it to the next dorm or apartment with ease. Dorms are small and weird places, that's why I designed products specifically for dorm life.
