Carhartt just announced an extremely cool collaboration with native designer, Bethany Yellowtail, and it's one that I think y'all are definitely going to wanna check out. First, a little bit about Bethany Yellowtail. She's a citizen of the Northern Cheyenne Nation, and she belongs to the district of the Crow Nation, the mighty few. She was a graduate of FIDM here in Los Angeles in 2009. And then in 2015, she started her own label, which was focused in wanting to see her community represented in mainstream fashion. And she's not a new face on the block either. She's an award winning designer, was selected for She's Next in Fashion, and was recognized at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards. Now looking at the project with Carhartt, I love every aspect about how they approach this collaboration. And the key thing that they focused on here is intentionality.
