Usually the way this is mediated is through histamine. So something gets in your nose, it binds to an antibody called IgE. IgE releases a molecule called histamine, and histamine causes your nose to get runny, sneezy, and better, so things run. But if you have constant allergies, your nose is always gonna be allergic and runny. So what you want to do is probably get allergy tested and try to use medications or immunotherapy to fix your allergic rhinitis no you're not always miserable.
