A screenshot of a tweet from the National Park Service featuring a photo of a very large brown bear in a river. The tweet's text uses humorous, meme-like slang ('Honky Chonk Beardonkadonk') to draw attention, while the post's caption provides educational information about the bear's pre-hibernation weight gain.

Narrative framework

The Authoritative Meme

Narrative framework logic

This framework leverages the cognitive dissonance created by an official, authoritative source using highly informal, contemporary slang. The humor and virality stem from the unexpected subversion of the source's perceived tone, which is then perfectly validated by a single, compelling image.
