Explaining visual literacy for creatives from @jason_swet
The speaker explains that developing 'insatiable taste' requires becoming 'visually literate.' He defines this concept and argues that it's achieved through deep immersion, such as studying the sources and people behind inspirational work, rather than just passively saving images. He provides examples from cooking and photography and advises art directors to build mood boards with executable ideas by knowing the artists who can create them.
