Like, when he cooks breakfast every Saturday, or deals with, like, questions about health insurance, but I'm lucky enough that my dad also shows his love through words. He writes the most beautiful letters. Like every birthday growing up, my dad would read his better to us kids out good, and for a moment, you felt like you were the most important person in the world. But on really special occasions, my dad pulls out his father's personalized stationery held onto from the nineteen seventies. He was also named Clyde, and unfortunately, he passed away right after I was born. To this day, my dad rations out this notepad, which will someday run out of pages and never be replaced. So when you get a letter on Clyde the third stationery, you know it means a lot. This Father's Day, I wanted to give my dad back the gift of letters.
