Transcript excerpt

We've arrived at the Jack Daniels distillery. We're gonna be walked through every single step of the whiskey making process. Welcome to Jack Daniels. Do you wanna touch your tongue right here? Oh, yeah. 70% alcohol right off the still. Woah. This fire is gonna get up to about 1,800 degrees, and we're gonna drip the raw spirit that some of y'all tasted through 10 feet of this charcoal. Is that thing is a craft whiskey? Do y'all think it's a craft whiskey? Who said no? Jack Daniels is craft. We only use four ingredients, water, yeast, the grains, and the barrel. Jack Daniels is a bourbon, then it touches charcoal, then it becomes a Tennessee whiskey. What I'm looking for is oak. I'm looking for spice. I'm looking for sweetness. I'm looking for something that's gonna set this apart. That's the water that made every drop of our whiskey. We're still pulling from this cake. Cheers. That's too good.
