Transcript excerpt
I know people are uncomfortable talking about money, but it's just such a massive strain on my mental health at the moment that I feel like I wanna talk about it on here in detail. Maybe people can relate or hopefully for your sake you can't relate to my financial situation. But anyway, up until this month, after tax, my take home pay has been about £1,650 and my rent is £950 a month without bills. 1,200 altogether with bills included. After rank, I'm left with about £450 a month. Yes. Thankfully this month I got a little raise at worse, so I'm hoping this feels a little bit less of a strain. Better feel like if you blink for one second, London will actually steal all your money without you even realising. If you're not super careful, you don't stand a chance. I feel like I'm constantly wishing the month away no I get paid, but I'm also really trying hard to live in the moment and be content. But basically, something's gotta change, and I really wanna become more financially literate, and hopefully that will help my mental health. So I'm here to figure that out, and maybe you can join me.
