Parenting philosophy over lifestyle montage from @immerse.inearth

The creator delivers a monologue defining what a 'good parent' is. He argues against providing more activities or gifts, and instead posits that children need to see their parents living a fulfilling life worth emulating—one with boundaries, goals, and genuine enjoyment of adulthood. This voiceover is layered over a montage of B-roll footage showing him and his family living an active, adventurous, and affectionate lifestyle in a tropical location.

Transcript excerpt

I wish more people would understand what a good parent actually is. Their kids don't need more activities, don't need more gifts. And to be honest, they're probably getting a ton of love and they don't even need more of that. What kids do need is they need to see you living a life worth copying. If you're going to their tournaments every Saturday and you look dead inside, it's teaching them that success means sacrificing yourself. You have to show them what it looks like to live a good life, have boundaries, pursue goals, love your partner, actually enjoy being an adult.
