DIY railing paint transformation process from @want.zamora

The creator debates whether to paint their white iron staircase railing black, explaining that the white color feels out of place. After showing inspiration, they document the entire DIY process: selecting a specific 'Black Mocha' paint, sanding the railing, and attempting to paint with a roller. Finding the roller ineffective, they switch to a paint sprayer, show the extensive prep work, and complete the job, ultimately revealing the transformed black railing and expressing satisfaction with the result before asking for viewer feedback.

Transcript excerpt

Do I paint my railing black or leave it white? Ever since I moved into my home, I best like there was something off with the entrance of my home. That's when I realized it was this iron railing that was painted white. All of the charm had been stripped away, and it was blending into the white wall. And after looking at some reference photos, I knew just what it needed. I went to the store to get some paint, but not just any paint. I needed a color that resembled iron. So I found a brown black paint that had bronzy hues to it. This color is black mocha in a satin finish. I started off by sanding the railing to make sure the paint had something to grab onto and then wiped off all the dirt and residue with degreaser. I thought about stripping the paint off the railing, but learned that the metal might rust if it isn't sanded and sealed correctly. So I went with the painting option instead. Rolling the paint was literally taking forever, and it wasn't really doing the best job. So after a few hours, I decided to call it quits and went to go buy a spray gun. It's my first time ever owning a spray gun, but I felt like it was a good investment because I'm gonna be painting my entire home.
