Transcript excerpt

At the Heiress tour, Taylor wrote me a note right before I went on stage, and I was reading it. And one of the lines that she talked about, she talked about Everybody's Sportswoman. And I was, like, sobbing backstage. It just, like, punched me in the heart that that's the only song she mentioned, and it was, like, the exact song that was made for her. Hi, Tier Vogue. I'm Sofia Isela, and this is Subtext. Everybody supports women until a woman's doing better than you. With Better Supports Women, I was at a concert and somebody was introducing their next song. They were introducing it by saying, there was this girl and she was perfect rank kind and funny and she did charity. And the entire audience like groaned. And I went home that night and I wrote the first part of Everybody Splits Women on a Peppy tier. And then I didn't wanna release it, but then, people wanted me to release it. So then I had to just add bass and layers and take out the Peppy guitar.
