Safari honeymoons are having a major moment right no. And as someone who grew up in Southern Africa, these are the lodges that I consider. Number one, Sasakwa Lodge by Sangeetha. This one is located in Tanzania, and the design is inspired by a great Edwardian manor house. Think cottages, verandas, sweeping views over the Serengeti Plains. They also have tennis, which is such a chic extra for a honeymoon because it makes the whole stay feel more like a private estate than just another safari lodge. Number two, Mambo in Botswana. My home. This place is often called the place of plenty because the wildlife density is insane. The camp itself feels like a series of beautiful wooden tree houses overlooking the flood plains. And if you're lucky, you might even find a leopard sleeping on your roof. Number three, Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge.
