Chair restoration process start to finish from @kylewilliamdesign
The creator documents the process of restoring a vintage Eames-style lounge chair they bought for $80. They begin by showing the chair's damaged condition, then disassemble it, clean the rusted metal parts in a vinegar bath, sand down the wooden shells, repair chips with wood filler, and finally apply Danish oil and a semi-gloss finish to bring the wood back to life.

Transcript excerpt
Better I've always wanted an Eames lounge chair. So when I found this vintage one on marketplace for tier, I knew I had to restore it. The chair was upholstered with pleather, which was flaking and damaged. The wood on the chair was scratched and the base was rusted. I started by taking the chair apart. Then, I gave all the rusted pieces a vinegar bath and used steel wool to clean the base. I carefully sanded the wood pieces and repaired any damage with wood filler. I used a Danish oil to bring the wood back to life. It actually blew my mind how stunning the wood looked. Finally, I used a semi gloss finish to seal it.
